One of Russia’s most influential landscape painters, Zverkov is often referred to as Russia’s Wyeth. His works are often illustrated in the first or second position in the annual academy books – after Mylnikov and before the Tkachevs.

Zverkov loves to paint in the north and we recently had a gentleman from Norway view this work and he said, “ The artist has perfectly captured the blue atmosphere of a sunny northern day.”

As important as Zverkov is, few of his works have left Russia.
