Olga
Suvorova (1966) Olga's father, mother and husband are also artists. Olga graduated from the Repin in 1989 and had a one-woman show of 30 works in 1990. She also won Yeltsin's artist prize from a competition of 3,000 artists. Olga paints landscapes, historical depictions and women in garden scenes often with a cat or other animals. Her style can be more realistic in the historical depictions but is strongly impressionistic in the other scenes. She exhibits regularly in Paris and London. Her works are in collections around the world. Her work in the University
of Missouri show was voted the most popular painting in the show. |
